A little prologue of a story...
Hi! I was bored and then I just started writing this.. Maybe I'll write a bit more later on.. It was fun, so I thought I would just post it here! Please tell me what you think of it!
Prologue
In the darkness, Goldpaw crawled slowly over the ground. He could smell the rabbit in front of him. Gathering himself, he lurched at his prey as swiftly as he could...
He felt his teeth sinking into fur, then tasted warm blood. He had caught a rabbit for the first time! He quickly picked it up and turned to his mentor, Lightpelt, who was beaming with pleasure. She had taught Goldpaw to hunt very well, and he had been a good learner. Now he was the best apprentice hunter! The cream-coloured she-cat stood up.
"Well done, Goldpaw!"
"Thanks! I can't believe I actually did it!"
Goldpaw was a ginger tabby with a golden spot on his left forepaw. He had been an apprentice for five moons, but would soon be ready to become a warrior. His mother had died when he was very young, and Lightpelt had taken care of him as if he was her own.. And now she was his mentor! She purred with delight at how fast Goldpaw was learning. He would become a great warrior, she was sure of that!
"Goldpaw, we'd better head back to the camp. Acornstar said she wanted to have a Clan meeting." Lightpelt said. Except for being Goldpaw's mentor, Lightpelt was also Thunderclan deputy. Acornstar had trusted her with the job, both because of her bravery and loyalty, but also because of her friendship and kindness.
"Okay. I can't wait to see what Acornstar has to say!" Goldpaw meowed excitedly.
Lightpelt smiled, and the two cats turned around and padded back to the Thunderclan camp.
